Croquet for All

You may have seen the new 'Croquet for All' banner outside the club, which is part of an initiative by the club to try and broaden the appeal of
croquet to a wider cross-section of the local population Thanks to members Will Gee, Michael Finnigan, Alexi Ringrose and Ferzana Shan for being the
models and David Brydon for organising the photo shoot.

This initiative has been embraced by the Pakistan Forum, who sent their President, Vice-president and another member to the club during the Annual
Week to have a look round. They have invited the club to their Independence Day celebrations on 25th August and 11 members will be sitting down to a 5
course meal of traditional Pakistani food, as well as promoting the game to several hundred guests.

Earlier on the same day club Chairman Beatrice McGlen will be doing an interview on Radio Dawn with presenter Ferzana Shan who has been a member of
the club for the last 3 years.  Radio Dawn is a local station targeting the Muslim population in Nottingham.
