Nottingham Croquet Club is announced as a finalist for  Diversity and Inclusion Award

The Sport and Recreation Alliance has announced the finalists for its national Community Sport and Recreation Awards, and our club is one of three finalists in contention for the Diversity and Inclusion Award. The finalists have been invited to a ceremony in Coventry in March, where the winners will be announced by HRH The Earl Of Wessex.

The Sport and Recreation Alliance is an influential organisation within sport so just being named as a finalist in their annual awards is a huge honour for our club. We have some stiff competition from British Cycling and Para Dance UK for this award, but you never know…

More information on the finalists can be seen at Finalists for Community Sport and Recreation Awards 2022.

The SRA brings together National Governing Bodies within the sport sector. They are the voice of the sector with Government, policy makers and the media, representing virtually every sport or physical activity in the UK. They provide advice, resources, training, advocacy and opportunity to their member organisations, of which The Croquet Association is one.
