Eileen Buxton managed the Northern Area Final of the Golf Croquet All-England Handicap on Sunday, 3rd August, 2014 and reports as follows:
Twelve players from all over the Northern area took part. Our own Peter Elmes came second and will go into the National Final
in Pendle. Roy and Pauline Donner from the FEMCC club Woodhall Spa also played. Pauline was 5th and is the reserve for the North in the final.
The winners were :- 1st Graham Good (Bury),2nd Peter Elmes (Nottingham),3rd Rich Waterman (Maldon), 4th David Whyte (Dulwich). The weather was good to us and the lawns played well.
