An update from the Committee.
Following government guidance issued on Monday 23/3/2020 on required measures to reduce the spread of the corona-virus, Nottingham Croquet Club will be closed for all on site activities with immediate effect, for an initial period of 3 weeks, after which it will be reviewed in the light of government advice at the time. We hope the programme of lawn maintenance will be continued as fully as possible but some staff redeployment may compromise this.
The AGM will proceed in a "virtual" basis as previously notified. All AGM papers will be sent out to members on Thursday (26/3/2020) so you will have plenty of croquet reading to keep you amused.
These are very difficult times for everyone. Please look after yourselves and each other. A friendly telephone call can make a big difference in a boring day.
Hoping this will be over swiftly and we can soon meet again on the lawns.
