Nottingham Croquet Club – extension of closure period

An update from the Committee.

Following the government update issued on Thursday 16/4/2020 announcing a 3-week extension of the national “lockdown” period to reduce the spread of the corona-virus epidemic, Nottingham Croquet Club will remain closed for all on site activities until  Thursday 7th May, after which it will be reviewed in the light of government advice at the time.

Lawn maintenance is continuing so as to enable resumption of play when conditions and legislation allow.

Following the successful negotiation of a 35-year lease, the club continues to plan for a thriving future.  Look out for further news by email and on the members-only section of the website in the near future.

These are very difficult times for everyone. Please look after yourselves and each other. We hope you will also continue to support the club in whatever way you can. A friendly telephone call can make a big difference in a boring day.

We very much look forward to being able to play the game we all love again,  before too long we hope.
